Excellent work, especially given that you managed to get the shot without them jumping away.

May I ask if what we are witnessing is the first moment of the start of a plague of locusts - one is on top and they both have big smiles on their dials.

My first reaction and I kid you not, was to exclaim "By Jimmeny Cricket!"
Not that I know how to spell it, but this is a AWESOME shot, looks like you found two crickets that were absolute posers, a great capture with a lot of great detail.

on an outdoor table in a game park in Sth Africa.
He posed there for a quite a while. (taken on my old Oly 8080)
