Another Panorama today, once again 4 images stitched.

Had to have a couple of goes to get this one ok.

Had set manual shutter, aperture and focus but forgot about colour balance which was set on auto

Only changes made are colour balance change to originals and the USM to the stitched image.

There was a bushfire nearby which added some interest.

Good job stitching and a nice image Mark, I would be inclined to clone out the branches on the top right corner though.

A great area for panoramas. Have you done some from Mary Cairncross Park?

Thanks Phillip, I looked at the branches a couple of times cropping them out but decided that they added a bit of perspective and teh image appeared to lose something without them. I am going to try the same shot but at the other end of the day with sun behind. I am also going to look at more foreground to frame the view and then moving away from the foliage altogether. The joys of digital, experiment experiment.

I went up there straight after this shot. By teh time I got up there the bushfire had put a lot of smoke haze over the area. Got a few interesting shots but nothing outstanding. Nice clear day and early morning would be a lot better.

Thanks Chris, I kept hearing "Do Do Do Doh Da" while I was there. Now I know what was going on

Nice shot Steve. Those clouds would have been great at the time I was up there.

I love the glasshouse mountains, utterly great for landscape photgraphy. Glad to see I'm not alone in that thought!

Killa that is sooo Cool Where is the UFO, its that kind of landscape.

A great panorama. I drive to work each day with this view on my RHS. Did I say I am enjoying this photography lark, so much to do and so little time, eh.

On the road from Montville to Maleny, some guys occasionally fly radio controlled gliders or go hang gliding on the weekends. I want to make that a photo exercise. With that kind of backdrop, is it any wonder we are being overrun by Mexicans!!
