Jamie I liked all of your shots. Nicely done. If I have to pick one, that'll be #2. Love the colors.

Keep it up!

Sensational pic, that second one. The blue lighting really adds interest to the image.

Jamie , all great pics, i love the way digital renders night images, the smooth rich colours can really set off a subject, i saw a Ken Duncan pic of Victoria Harbour recently taken from an elevated position , Bolte Bridge? and it looked outstanding have you seen it ? they have an original in the gallery shop at southbank , well worth a peek.

I agree mate, (is it still legal to say mate in Australia? :D )

number two is awesome, it appears to be playing perspective tricks on me,the base of the image tells me its level but the top building appears tilted, very nice I like shots that trick the eye.

Great shots Jamie! I like #2 especially for the comp and colours. You've certainly sorted out a sweet spot for the kit lens.
Hey, I can't make it to the August Night Meet due to comittments, but if you're ever going out night shooting again, do you think I could tag along?
Cheers, Jase. :D

Thanks for the kind words people.

Nikon boy - No i havent seen the picture by Ken Duncan, might well be worth a look next time im down that way though.

vrboy - The building is actually curved shaped and tilted inwards a little, really cool looking building i think.

christiand - Yes, it was the kit lens.

Jase - Of course you can tag along, id be glad for the company. On one condition though - you show me how you take shots like your motorbike pictures you posted up a few days ago some time. :) I'll shoot you a pm a few days before i next go out.

Really nice photos Jamie....well done. My favourite is also #2 - the colours really make it pop.

If I ever get the chance (remembering I have twins now), I'd love to come out with yourself & Waspo for a shoot somewhere, sometime.

I'm sure we can make it happen one day :)
