Love the second one Kerry. I get a little tired of seeing isolated moon shots, so love the reflection from the water. Nicely done.

If you don't mind me saying Kerry SHIT HOT !

The 1st is as perfect a shot I have seen with a camera lens & the 2nd in just brilliant.

You had an effect like the water there on another blue moon shot, I like this one even better.

How did you do it & what did you use again.

Well done.

Mic.

I second that!

Superbly done Kerry, a great example of creatively using PP to transform a standard moon shot (although very well captured) to an ethereal image. The converging lines of the reflection draw the eye back to moon to hold the attention of the eye.

Outstanding work Kerry. Sensational.

On a related tangent, and as a matter of interest, a blue moon is the
second full moon occuring in one calender month. It doesn't happen
very often, hence the saying.

(I think it might occur 40 or 50 times in a century)

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. :D

Mic: You're correct that I used the effect on another shot, a full moon, which is the "real" blue moon, as Greg pointed out.

The water effect is done with Flaming Pear's Flood filter. Once that is done, tint to color of choice. 8)

Mate, you have done it again with a spectacular picture there and the #2 pic looks fantastic. Needs a rock with a wolf sitting on it howling at the moon. It's that type of pic and bloody great.
Cheers
John

Both images are sensational Kerry. I particularly enjoyed the 2nd.

Thanks all, for the kind comments. :D

Mic: So, you got your pears flamed and will now be flooding rather than inverting?

Marco: I used the spot meter on that shot and adjusted to underexpose a little.
