I took this shot and love the tone I got on converting it. Really wacky values.
Red was like 150
green was 60
blue was 43
the constant slider was down to about -115 or so. I don't remember exactly, but I got a pretty cool effect.

That is most impressive.
Do you have any more of the amazing sand creations ?

Here's one that worked out well too, the others I took were cool, but not worth my time to treat at the moment.

.......nice image, and treatment..... but the background detracts from the focal point, a lower angle would help, or maybe a slight blur to the background, so you come back to the point of focus......

Wow - what an awesome sculpture.
I really like the darkened sky in your pic - It looks like the hands belong to some Godlike creature who is calling down evil from the heavens or something.
Where was the pic taken?

You got sand in Canada? I thought you only had snow.

To go swimming on this beach when the tide was out meant a 2 kilometer walk over pure sand. Check it out.

While it would be way tedious I think it's worth cloning out all the people & other objects to leave just hands, sand & sky and this would be one seriously awesome shot.

Is there a technique for doing that? I clone out little bits here and there, but all those people, I have no idea how.
