Firstly, let me justified the title. Presented image is a mixture of photography, 3d graphics and matte paiting.

Secondly I would like ask you about your feeling about this image from photographic and simply viewer point of view. Does it speak to you, would you like to go there etc

Also any other comments, sugestions and impresions are welcome.

very pleasing image of a proposed boutique resort. I can not tell what is not real ( i assume the building is not real) and real ( i assum the swan, fountain and birds are real)

the building does have alot of detail to make it look 'real'.
also the illumination of the buildings fits in with the scenery. did you use radiosity and Global illumination??

It's nice but for more dramtic effect which I have seen you pull off consistently in the past

I would rotate the scene and move the camera so the building is 60 degrees from the axis point end of the building acing viewer, that way you get better perspective see more of the building and so on, i wll have to draw a little picture so you get what i mean, but i will do that after work hours

Truthfully I find the image bland and uninspiring. Sorry but it would not make me want to go there.

Your are about right what is real what not and yes, it is GI.

Wendellt, yes , I do architectural visualisation as well. I agree with camera view. This image is anly part of the whole think. The idea you propose is happing now in animation form

This view is rather for marketing people, to show how great and enviromental area is

i think the building follows the idea 'touching the earth lightly' approach, where mininal damage is done to the surrounding.

although could you have a couple engaging with the scene (walking along the beach??) gives a sense of proportion.

There are few people on the deck, if this is what you mean. However animation will just showing landscape design rather and marketing features, so animated walking people are not in budget. However I agree, this site has potencial for good marketing shots

Actually I was graduated as a software developer and had a couple years experience in this area starting from low level hardware programing to java and databases business system But then I found that I should be paid for my hobby with is 3d and computer graphics so I change my profesion

I am part of the creative department at T-bone a web development company
when i first started i did multimedia concept develpment and programing for eLearning systems and Kiosks.

No. Recently I use quite a lot Vray.

This one was pretty quick job, looks good, however having more time would result in better shots. There is always issue between quality and time in pro projects, unfortunatelly. Heh.

Hope to update and release my website soon. There will be few better projects
