Hi guys. Please let me know what you think of this image.

It was taken this evening, using a polariser on the kit lens on a tripod.

Image

EXIF:

18mm
1/25sec
F/13
ISO200

Cheers,
Owen.

[edit: I just noticed that this shot has the tree branches creeping in from the right hand side. I cloned this out, but must have undid it somehow before I saved it.]

A classical pastoral image! Simple, empty, dripping with gold light, and beautiful. Shows the power of the Polarising filter. Well constructed! Well done! Maybe something...a figure or a dog, in the foreground left of page might have taken the image to a slightly higher level?

owen...

i really like this shot... simple but extremely effective...

all it needs is a pig on the wing and it would be a nice sequel to a pink floyd album cover...

well done...

cheers

Wow, thats beautiful alright!! I need to get me one of these CP for my kit.
Only suggestion is to perhaps crop a little more off the bottom just up until the light hits the grass and a smidge off the right side where you can see the end branches of another tree (or you could clone these out.) But, thats just me being picky.
Well done, and well sorted location.
Cheers, Jase. :D

Thanks for the comments guys.

Unfortunately no dogs/cows/sheep were available at the time of shooting :(

I would like to go back later in the year when the sun has changed positions a bit, hopefully it will bathe the first tree in golden light.

Cheers,
Owen.
