Is it run-of-the-mill?
If this shot is no good can someone please point out why?
Cheers

I like it Willy. Sort of creeps up on you after you look at it a couple of times. I guess if I had to add something constructive it would be that the subject is a little busy - lots of different varieties that almost compete with each other for the viewer's attention. It's hard to know what to focus on.

I seem to get caught in the trap of using too little DOF as I am seriously in love with the effect. I think that this shot is probably suffering from the same problem.
Maybe hold back on the polarisation also, its a wonderous filter but overcooking it can take some of the impact away.
Just my 2c worth.

I think that Simon has hit the nail on the head. It is a nice enough image, but struggles to stand on it's own without a focal point.

No focal point. Too busy. I can see your point.
Thanks for the feedback. Will work on it.
Cheers guys!

I agree on the lack of a focal point....my eye seems to wander around the image, not sure on what to stop at.
However the colour in the sky is beautiful. Such a nice blue.
Keep on, keeping on.....
