Looks like one was having a bad feather day.

Nice stuff, sharp, with good use of DoF.

I like the magpie too. Nice sharpness and contrast. You've exposed well for the black and white, and there is some lovely colour in the eye.

I think the remnants of dinner around that fierce-looking beak makes the shot really interesting. Well done. :D

Actually, it reminds me of the old joke:
What's the last thing that goes through a grasshopper's mind as it hits a car windscreen?
Answer: Its arse!

The punks on the back deck crack me up and that Maggie shot is stunning, very evil looking  Great captures...

Well I'm going to be brutally honest here, and speaking in the same sort of tongue you'd expect from nature forums. Sharpness wise they seem fairly good. Exposure wise there are quite a few areas that are very hot. Take a look at the legs and the areas around the head. They're blown.
Also the magpie is fairly blown, mainly on the beak. The head isn't blown afaik as this is probably the effect of DOF. Also I'd like to see the white faced herons on a natural perch. Besides all of that, nicely done :)
