On the track...

I haven't posted in ages as I've been quite busy, here's an image I took a while ago. I think an even lower perpsective would have been more appealing but you live and learn.

I agree... a lower perspective would've been better, but not a lot of people want to get that dirty for a shot! :lol:

Still, a good black and white. :D

Geoff as the image was loading I had a good look at how the it would appear if cropped from the bottom. Looked really good. :D

Hi Geoff - I think I agree with the idea of being lower (it's one of my favourite perspectives, down low :) ), but I also feel it would benefit from having the whole roof of the station (?) in the frame rather than the crop being along the top of the roof line.
That said, a nice capture in Black and White :) (and I do like the second crop as well)

Hi Geoff, I think Oneputt meant cropping the bottom, not the top. I tend to agree. I'd lop off about the bottom quarter of the image. That would draw your eyes further back towards the building, leaving the track in the foreground. This would be my preference, but may not be the effect you are looking for. See what you think.
