A few slow shutter shots from Thredbo. I can barely lift my arms after hitting the slopes. I would pay $1000 for a new arse right now too.

Sorry I can't help you out with a new arse, but I do really like these shots.
Do you have any more to add ?
Did you try any different angles ? I think this could of benefited from a lower perspective.

Glad you like them Alpha. They look a little better when viewed at high res.

Will add a couple more from this shoot tomorrow.

Nice shots WW... Prefer the 2nd one as the moss on the rocks comes out more... You might want to try boosting the saturation to highlight the green even more...

Just one question for my own benefit... Why was your ISO set to 400 on a long exposure???

Leek - seemed like a good idea at the time?

Actually I was shooting in low light before hand and didnt change it back. For my own interest - what negatives will shooting at elevated ISO have on a long exposure?

The only negative I could think of would be that your shutter speed would be half what it could have been...
Normally when going for a long exposure like that, you'd keep the ISO as low as poss to get the longest possible exposure...

I just thought there was something I was missing... 200 --> 400 ISO isn't that big a deal anyway...

I pushed the saturation. Works good!

Oh Yeah... I like it...

Next step would be to selectively apply higher saturation...
The green tinge to the water doesn't look right, but it has brought out the green of the moss on the rocks...

Sorry - I'm probably asking you to do things that I couldn't do...
