John - you should contact some of the major magazines. With pictures like yours you could make a lot of money. Excellent :D

Mate i have always used this method, and tell everyone who trys this sport to use it.
I dont like dynamic and learnt that a long time ago, so i keep my settings the same as i know what works best.

Thanks Jeff, and well Rob mate i am starting to lean away from D2x now and waiting off i think seen the D200 on Ken Rockwells site and well i know i normally like to rush at times but i think i might ride this one out a bit and wait and see what happens.

I am not sure i can improve a lot on my shots but i am after more MP and maybe some more reach and i think i will just about have what i want.
Friend with the Nikon 300 f2.8 wants a bit too much for his lens as it is an older ED and i think the Sigma 120-300 f2.8 would be the better deal there and well i do read a lot on dpr about the d2x, but yeh will wait and see what goes.

Where i lack is photoshop skills, local bloke here who does what i do also knows his way around photoshop very well and makes his pics look great, but also charges for it as well, where mine are kind of plane but they dont have his price tag either. He is after big bucks, if i sell i sell if i dont i had lots of fun . But i do get a lot of orders so i guess they are ok for what i do.

D70 lacks fast focussing speed and well i can live with the frame rate but if i could change these would be the things i would change, now the D200 is spose to be 3fps at 12.3 meg and 5fps at high speed crop at 6.8 so will have to see what it focus like.

Anyhow my only addiction is i tend to take too many damn pics since i got my Xdrive.
Cheers

Mate, as always you have come up with the goods again. Very Nice pics and good to see you there!...
Many thanks for the play with the 80-400VR. I managed to get a couple of nice shots, but gotta get in some more practise!

Many thanks for the camera tips as well. Its so much better to have it explained to you in a situation rather than try and read a Manual and apply it!

Cheers Mate

BBJ I'd look at investing in a 300 F2.8 AFS-II maybe second hand if you can't afford new. You should be able to pick up around the $3k mark. Then get a D200 whenever they decide to come out :)
