Drip.... Drip....*** When getting there is half the fun! ***
great photoHi sheepie,
this is a great photo, great composition, great matter and well done. How many shots did you take and how did you do it ? Sorry for asking you so directly, I obviously don't know this one and am very eager to find out. I assume that a flash was involved. Cheers CTD
great shot sheepie... well done...
usually i'd say that middle of the frame is bad practice... but it works absolutely wonderfully in this shot... great work! cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
In the middle of the frame and against a brick wall...

I love it. The tone, the contrast, the lighting, the noise, the moire, the subject, the compostion, the title. It's sensational.
Well done... Steve.

Thanks all - this was a shot I had in mind for the water challenge, but went with another because someone beat me to it with a dripping tap!
From memory, I shot around 30-40 shots of the tap, trying different settings, and missing most drops! Yes, the flash was used (although it was shot during the day) - came up with a very nice effect. Used high ISO, and then added even more grain in PS. Another version with colour, and full EXIF info (same shot, different effect): http://sheepie.smugmug.com/gallery/246573/1/11354038 Regards, *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
