Mirror

I know it's a bit 'noisy', but was shot an hour ago in my front yard :) Neighbours still think I'm nuts, but that's par for the course.

These are two stem sucking bugs called "Acanophora compressa" - introduced into Australia by CSIRO for the control of lantana. Unfortunately, they have moved onto ornamentals as well - these are on my fiddlewood tree. At the moment, the tree is just starting to become infested - the adults all line up on a stem and suck away. It always amuses me that they line up in a mirror pattern.

Wow you really knows your bugs :shock: To me they're all just bugs :oops: Strange how they line up like that, I keep expecting them to start a congo :lol:

I didn't notice the noise, but you could always try selecting the background and just a smidge of gaussian blur (1-2 pixels) to smooth things over...

Rel - your shots are just not fascinating, it’s your knowledge that makes them that more interesting.

Reminds me of Microcosmos :D
