Hi All,

I took this picture late this arvo but, I screwed the settings so it didn't come out as well as I wanted it too. :( Never mind there is always next time....

Anyway, critique away. (Good, Bad or in different)

Cheers,
Bill

Hi Bill
unfortunately, I feel the heavy shadows on the skater detract from the image and I'd prefer to see the composition with less of the sky and more of the foreground (skate bowl - if this is the correct term to use ?). Perhaps you could also have the rider off to one side to create a little more interest in the shot, rather than have him smack-bang in the middle.

There is certainly potential there for a great shot !

What lens did you shoot with and what was the EXIF data ??

Thanks Dave, Yeah not one of my best but hay......

I shot it with just the kit lens (18-70mm)
The EXIF data was 1/800, f/4, ISO 200, RAW, AF mode was set to AF-S and I normally set it to AF-C for these shots (Bugger), focal length was 27mm.

Cheers,
