A couple of shots from my trip to the Southern Highlands today...

Image
"Weatherbeaten". 1/320 sec, f7.1, kit lens.

Image
"Vertical Forest". 1/250sec, f5.6, kit lens.

Both were adjusted to B/W using Optic Verve's Virtual Photographer plugin

Hi Frank.

I think you've got a couple of good images here. I like the first one and can't think of any way to improve it. The second perhaps the sky being so blown out is a little detracting from the image, but I still like it.

I recently went up to Bowral but couldn't find much at all to take photos of. Where were these taken?

Cheers,
Owen.

Thanks Owen. The first one is just on the outskirts of Robertson, and the second is on the way to Belmore Falls. The weather was pretty drab - grey overcast stuff that wasn't particularly suitable for photography, but as soon as I saw these trees on the way to the falls I saw their potential.
