Pictures from airplane

Today, I took some pictures of nice airplanes from my seat in an old Cessna at 5000 feet. I can tell you it was pretty cold and windy with the door removed. The seat was vibrating so much and the weather was pretty bumpy that I decided not to be too obsessed with blurry propellers and rather went for clear pictures. I had borrowed a D2X and that makes life so much easier for focussing and chasing targets. Here is one (below).

At least you can play with the D2x.

This was with the 70-200. I guess this would have brought you some memories. We did two trips, over one hour all together. Really nice!

And how/ what do you think the handling of AF in chasing these subjects in the sky once you were airborne in both of the D2x and D70?

You just cannot compare! Worlds apart, just beautiful! It's amazing that with all the vibrations, the bumps, me shivering I still got some nice pictures...
