So what do you think? taken yesterday afternoon with the kit lense.

Is the background too busy? I know the number plate looks strange but I wanted to blot it out..

Second version after the first version had been posted here 12 months ago with the Opera House in the background! I thought this year it will have difference colour and with new set of wheels.

well, I kerbed one of my wheels tonight badly (needs replacement) but it will be the same kind of wheel - not changing all 4

With my photography expenses theres no money going into the car! Which is just as well !

What are your thoughts on the shot?

nice car Kris. Two things that spring to mind instantly; the reflections in the windows (I appreciate it's not easy to get rid of them), and perhaps brighten the image a little.

I personally don't feel it is too busy in the background, however you could crop closer so only the wall behind the car is visible.

Bad luck about that wheel. You weren't driving like a madman, were you ?!?

I will brighten it and crop it a bit. Not sure what I can do about the glass. Question about cropping, for some reason when I try and select a large area in PSCS 8 it won't allow me to? it's like its limited in size..

Driving? not really, quite slow around this sweeper but it was very dark and the kerb cut in There goes $350 !

Up the top of the screen, do you have the "style:" on Fixed Size ??
If so, just change it back to normal, or Fixed Aspect Ratio and choose 3:2

I find the background to busy, or maybe just a gaussian blur of a few pixels so it doesn't distract from the car? I'd also be tempted to darken the glass...

The Europians know how to make cars for drivers huh... It's as though they actually drive them to see what they're like rather than mass produce a car efficiently...

IMO if you are going to take the picture on an angle take it on an angle, like this one that i prepared earlier (yes its film).

The shadows across the front are a little bit of a bummer.

Maybe next time take the plates off, its only a couple of screws.

That option is available. It has width and height for the crop and resolution in pixels/cm

Ill crop it a bit and take some of that background out Not sure how to darken the glass as I'm a photoshop newbie as much as I am a DSLR newbie
