Budburst aproaches, how will the 2006 vintage do?

Beautifully composed shot Scott. I like the colour contrast between the vines and the grass and the way the vines vanish into the distance.

Great place to visit. I've been to Rutherglen twice in the last two years (fair drive from Newcastle) and Campbell's is one of my two favourite wineries. They make fantastically delicious muscats at very reasonable prices. (for the curious my other favourite winery is Warabilla who make awesome huge high alcohol Durif's)

The Durifs this season were Sensational! The Cambell's Balky Durif was a stunning wine with a sensational front and nose (not as lingering as I would like on the finish though) But a bit pricey at $39 a bottle...

You're going to force out over 1K for the Sigma 70-200! and $39.00 for a bottle of the best Durif is pricey? after emptying the Durif, the emptied bottle can be your glass save all your hassle.

Actually it was not the price of the Durif that stopped me.. In general I dont buy wines about $30 unless the are EXCEPTIONAL... When I do winery regions I like to find a cheaper better value drop that will age well and get 6-12 bottles and store them... Buying only one means I will never get to taste the wine as it should taste as it will disapear before it is mature...
