Day of the Triffids

Decided it was about time I posted a pic from the new body - D2Hs. Shot with the Sigma 105mm macro.

Does anyone else see a Triffid in this pic :?:

......yes......and fine quality, good shadow detail, but I would also like to see a crop of the end of the flower to see just how sharp the fine hairs? are, they look good atm, .........nice pix......

Yes Chris I do. Nice image and definately a Triffid, what would Mr Orwell have said?

Looks great, nice detail and terrific colour... Nice seperation from the background too...

The Day of the Triffids, The Kraken Wakes, Trouble With Lichen, The Midwich Cuckoos, (and more no doubt), fantastic and wonderful books from John Wyndham

Great shot Chris, yes, it is Triffidesque.
