So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Never boring John. Colourful, sharp, highly detailed, well-framed and beautifully timed, yes, but never boring.

Yes, John, they certainly light themselves up! I love the blues and silvers in number 2 but the rooster tail of dirt in number 1 is a cracker. Not so inoto fluoro green so the third one doesn't thrill me, though it's still a top shot.

BBJ, in some ways it's good you didn't buy a brand new 300 F2.8 VR or AFS-II. Or even have a D2X for that matter. You scare me taken in to such extreme conditions. I'm sure you D70 must come back covered in muck >)

Thanks All, Darryl i try to stay out of the dust as much as i can, i have been at a car rally where i woul dtake a shot and put camera under shirt and then walk away till dust settles then repeat, but the breeze was side on to me so i didn't get too grotty and i always come home and brush the camera gear off. Cleaned my sensor yesterday so allready for the big weekend.

#1 is as good as any you have posted, and that's saying something! Ace stuff. BTW John, what do you know about the Honda VT750C cruiser? I have had heaps of bikes, road and road/trail, but no bikes for last 12 years or so due to wife and kids etc. Unfortunately motorcycling is in my vains and I need another bike. Saw a brand new cruiser at Ballina the other day and it got me thinking.

My days of rice burning GSX's and ZZR's etc are over, it's something more sedate and sensible for cruising the mid north coast I am looking at.

Cheers,
