I like the treatment in both, I really like the aged and weathered texture in the first. The light and shadow in the second is great, all the folds of the robe come out really nicely.

Fab regarding the 2nd image how did you get the sky so dark , while maintaining the highlights in the statue, use of a CPL? Did you shoot these with the 17-35 f2.8?

are from my archive, i didn't use a 17-35 but used the CPL.
Lightreading from white statue and as you can see partially overexposed. A Bit of flash but the natural light did the real job!
