more big cats from the Masai Mara.

This young lion had just finished eating it's fill of wildebeest, look at it's full tummy! It was part of a pride of at least 17 lions and the pride had just killed 4 wilderbeest that morning - just 200m out of our camp!



These two cubs were just sitting in the grass when we got there. They are 4 weeks old. Mom was still keeping them hidden in bushes till they got old enough to join the rest of the pride. There were a few freelance nature photographers at this site, just one Nikon photog and two Canon photogs.

These are another nice pair of pics, although they look a little warm on my monitor.

That's one fat kitty! Really love the lighting in these Andre, and am very jealous.

In the second one, I like the way the depth of field focuses (excuse the pun) your attention on the cub whose face is not obscured - imho that makes the shot
