Yeah I agree - it had to be mostly dark or you would have blown the light sources. As it is, you can see brick details on the sandstone walls - it's perfect!

If only that fence wasn't sloping and that tree was chopped off... ;)

thanks for all the positive feedback. Motivated to do more night shots however I'd had to return the tripod and now in the process of looking for my own that's not too expensive but stirdy.

The Manfrotto ??249? that I saw on the weekend was about $250.
