Hi,
Had some time today to play with new tripod and went to local coast. Here are couple of images of water with long exposures. Same place but bit different lightning conditions. Do you like or dislike any of them? Why?
Critique requested!

dont work for me. Sorry.
I think the overall impact would be the same in this composition with short exposures.
It seems to me that if there was more water moving around, perhaps crashing over the rocks or something??

Hi Hlop. Looks like a nice place to shoot. However for me there isn't enough movement in the water... it looks a bit too still. Was it a calm day?
Was the second taken with a polariser? The water looks clearer.
Nice and sharp though.
Cheers,
Owen.

Thanks guys! Yeah, today ocean was too calm
Owen,
Both of them were taken with CPL. In first one just more foam.
What do you say about composition? Would it be OK with more water moving?

would be hard to say whether more water would do the biz, but the best thing about digital is that it wont cost you much to find out!!
I just feel that the two big rocks may not allow vision of the moving water, but when the water is moving it may be magic out there!
