Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. You're doing very nicely with this setup John. I like the lot, but #1 is my pick because the landscape crop works in some way that I, sadly, cannot pin down.

No crops were involved Peter... My original title for this set was: Come Closer - I Need You!... which may or may not explain why #1 appeals to your most... Cheers, John

Blatant Bump...
I'd expected a little more critique than I have so far received... Are these type of shots becoming a little too clichéd now??? Cheers, John

John, Sorry I read over this one earlier and was in a bit of a rush so didn't leave a comment. I really like these shots, and certainly don't think they are cliched, It's spring we'd expect plenty of flowers All these great flower shots are really inspiring, however also frustrating as I don't have the kit to take similar shots.....
#3 is my favourite, simply composed #2 I like this one but would crop out some of the right and emphaise the tall and short stamen (or whatever its called). #1 again I don't find the right hand adds to the shot and would try croping it out
