Thanks for the comments.
Ben - glad shot #2 appealed. It took a lot of work because the day was so damned bright. A bit of PP came into play to balance the highlights and the shadows.
mic - see above. On my LCD this is bright, but not so on my CRT. Can't have a profile loaded for noth so I go with the CRT. The grape dribbles were very nice
Craig - We all had a great time. Restrained myself & only bought 1 case of vino. In #2 the item in the bottom left of frame is a set of paved steps. They originally also had a stainless steel hand rail that I cloned out, but I was too lazy to also clone out the pavers
Sheetshooter - it's a lovely spot. Usually I visit the Lower Hunter since it's closer to home so I'd never been to Rosemount before. The day we were there a train arrived with 100 people on a wine tasting so we got in just in time before they arrived (plus I got shots of the train arriving!)
Re: Ammo dump - these days do you think a bunch of guys with backpacks and cameras would get near it
As it was we were talking to the security lady at Rosemount who'd spotted a guy with a large bag "behaving suspicously" near the train tracks at Rosemount with a female "accomplice". When she approached they jumped back in their car and bolted. They went further down the road and stopped near the fence to the army land. The security gurard called up some more security people to check them out. We live in paranoid times.
