LOZ, You have a good and safe trip! don't stay closed to the geisha "can have a look but don't buy" Report when you're back. Smac, You're too! enjoying your times while you're in Michigan, have fun and a safe trip! Birddog114

Sorry for the late notice Birddog, but I am not feeling very well this morning and won't be able to come to either the mini-meet or the Night Shoot tonight...
It's a great shame as I was looking forward to both... See you all again, sometime soon... Cheers, John

Thanks to birddog and his charming wife for being hosts on Saturday and providing the great food and beverages for us. It was great to catch up with a few new faces as well as all the familiar ones. Catcha even made it while in town from Darwin thanks to his uncle playing chauffeur. Thanks also to the others who brought the yummy slices and cakes.
Another great day. Managed to leave with cash even (despite buying a Benro ball head for my manfrotto monopod). Peter

I would like to thank everyone especially Birdy and stubbsy for a warm welcome.
I can see why a mini so popular and trying out those Huge lenses, and getting to hold a see what the fuss is about with the 70-200VR. I now know why . And the 200-400VR that is a monster. Thanks to birdy and eveyone else for showing me all your wonderful toys. I want a few lenses now excluding the 200-400VR it's just too big Thanks Stubbsy for highlighting the extra menu feature that I never had a clue of and the mirror lock up feature . Nice meeting Alpha_7, Joet and whoever else I shook hands with but can't remember. Until next time might catch up again when i'm back up but i'll still be here hahahhah Ben Yu
