I believe this co-incides with Johnd and Trieu's Sydney photo shoot so even more reason to head in on a Saturday morning
Thanks for the heads up Thanh.

Well, at the moment it reads:
Saturday Fine. Partly cloudy.
City: Min: 13 Max: 23
West: Min: 6 Max: 23
which sounds fine to me. Of course, I trust those forecasts about as far as I can throw them (which is not very far if printed on the side of a fridge).

I'm also considering hopping on a ferry or two... before I head home.
Trying some of Shelia's candid techniques and if its a nice day a little cruise might be quite photogenic.

I'm out for both shoots unfortunately guys - turns out I just have too many things to do on the weekend, with not enough time.
Whoever is going to the minimeet and walkmeet, see you at those!

From todays gathering...
Sydney Cove International Passenger Terminal.
The place to chimp your shots. Craig (Alpha7), Keith (Firsty) and Trieu caught in the act. John (johnd), the canny Taswegian, escaped my clutches...

Clone out the monkeys and that would be a cracker of a shot. I love the composition with all those interesting verticals and leading lines. Plus you've got one of my favourite Sydney buildings in the image. Well done.

The last and the first (in that order) are the standouts here for me. I especially like the OOF buddha in the last one.

Fab sorry we missed you... 2.30 pm when you were there would have been a better time, When we were there at 10.30am you could not move for people with cameras all standing in
our way
unlike yours, none of the shots I got at the festival were worth posting
for those who missed it
here are some of my shot from the rest of the day

Keith, those shots of yours are technically rubbish. On closer inspection it appears to be an equipment issue. I'd be happy to take off your hands that lump of crap you were forced to cart around all day. I'll even throw in my almost new D70 in as part of the deal. No need to thank me, it's just part of the service I offer

Keith, ditto the offer from Andrew but I'll throw in an ML-L3 instead of a mouse.
Like the shots too, still haven't got round to going thru mine.
