Hi Birddog,

Are you meaning that you will hold a mini meet on each of the 15, 22 and 29 January or are you asking for a preffered date ?

The 22nd sounds good to me.

I have been browsing around here for a while but due to shiftwork I have'nt had time to really get stuck into learning some more about my D70 and my friend Glenn (r2160) who I introduced to the forum has already taken advantage of your hospitality so now I'm jealous !

I hope to meet up with you before that when we pay you a visit to pickup some CF cards during the week.

Cheers
Brad

Brad

Things change fast in cyberspace. I think birddog meant on each of those dates, but the 22nd (your preferred date) is now a Sydney members picnic day which is a good thing since you have the day free :) (refer http://forum.d70users.com/viewtopic.php?t=1905 for details) so I'm guessing there won't be a mini meet that day. Of course I could be wrong & birddog will correct me.

stubbsy,
You're right, NO MINI MEET on the 22nd at my base, this meet is now cancelled and replaced by a PINIC DAY of D70Users forum at Tania Park

Birddog... you forgot to mention the 4am Full VR Members Meet... Very exclusive... only one member so far... though come to think of it you're currently minus the 300VR so maybe it's a membership of zero and you get to sleep in...

Thanks MJ,
The VR club is still maintaining its pre-dawn meet at 4:00am with hot brew coffee (Courtesy of MJ, thanks) and Krispy Kream Donuts for the start of every Saturday.
The 80-400VR/ 70-200VR and 200-400VR are more than enough to get around, then March or April the 300VR will touch down, then VR and VR and VR

Depends. How deep are your pockets?

Are you currently suffering from Lens Lust?

1. I was an art student. We don't even know what a pocket is.

2. If you call a $5000 video camera and a $400 computer case lens lust, then yes.

(Sorry about invading the thread...)

Keyword isn't "cure" - keywords are "for a while". I'm pretty sure as soon as I finish playing with new toy I'll suffer from the Lens Lust again BTW. Do you know what's the only difference between boys and men?

Mikhail,

The answer is irrelevant: size doesn't matter. :)

No, the only real difference is cost of their toys. It's espetially applies to the Lens Lust conception

So I did! And forgot to breath out .... :)

No, as I said I have a very strong will and I'll be able to hold myself for at least a month before I buy another lens. Next purchase, as I mentioned in topic about next D70 related purchase, will be ewa-marine underwater housing
