Northern Beaches members on the up

I've been noticing of recent weeks that there are a growing number of Northern Beaches members. As we are coming into a very busy time of the year (Sept through Dec/Jan) I am putting out the feelers for members who may be interested in a casual picnic BBQ (probably more social than photographic but that can change) at McCarrs Creek or somewhere serene, where kids can play happily and the adults can sit back, relax, talk, take photos and generally chill out!
I'd be thinking some time around the beginning of December, but of course not firm dates set as yet.
Of course - ppl from anywhere can join in

Sounds good to me (does lower north shore exclude me?) however, start of December is always a b*tch as we have three family birthdays in the first couple of weeks.
You could always try St Leonards Partk in Nth Sydney (right next to Nth Sydney oval) - I say this not because I live a 5 min walk from there!

Geoff,
I used to start the midnight bus from McCarr's Creek, so it would be interesting to see it in daylight
Count us in for a summer time picnic

Thanks Poompy I am starting to think that a catch up in the new year is going to be more suitable to all and many. You are right, the year is fast closing - nuts!
