Red Carpet event at the casino on SundayApparently there's an event at the star city casino on sunday evening for the 50th anniversary of TV in Australia. I'm going to head down there early afternoon to try and get a good vantage point for the red carpet event beforehand.
Anyone else going? Let me know.. perhaps we can meet. Geoff http://www.gleff.com

Good luck Geoff, I wish you the best of luck mate. Without a media pass you unfortunately won't really be able to get in amongst the action. I am working the entire week end but if I wasn't I'd come down and help you heckle. Know your celebs and have a big voice, call them and when they look your direction...CLICK! Let us know how u get on. Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Happy hunting. Contact your local paper, tell them you will cover it if they sponsor you for media accred. Might be to late, but worth a try.
Good luck either way! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

I'm just going by the fact channel 7 asked for people to come down to the event. Surely they wouldn't do that if you had no hope of seeing anything. I don't expect to get prime position but hopefully I'll see something. Anyway, time will tell. If I get anything good i'll post to my online galleries advise on here. Geoff http://www.gleff.com
