Sydney where to go what to see and do ???

Hi all, Im going to be in the big smoke next week and would like to know where to go and look at some good galleries or photo exibitions etc

Camera shops and good book photography shops around the city would be great also.

what type of galleries mainly photography?

go to the ACP australian centre of photography paddington
this is mainly contemporary

for more fine art stuff you can go to the art gallery of NSW

i used to to work at Roslyn Oxley 9 Gallery which is one of the most exclusive contemorary art galleries in Australia but it's pretty niche
you can see works by Tracey Moffatt and Bill Henson

as for camera shops pro stuff is at Foto Reisol 364A Kent Street
otherwise dragon image in artarmon

check out pioneer studios in broadway if you like studio stuff, balltronics hire is located in the same place
