Anyone know of any nice places to get some pictures around Newcastle / central coast, whether its sunrise / sunset or night photography

Certainly plenty of places:

-Newcastle beach
-Nobbys
-Bogey Hole
-Stockton Beach
-Redhead Beach
-Dudley Beach
-Boat Harbour
-Caves Beach
-Norah Head
-Newcastle Baths
-Merewether Baths

plus heaps more. Plenty in the vineyards, Lake Macquarie, Nelson Bay, Watagans, even your neighbourhood/backyard, the list goes on. I'll just drive around on the weekend, exploring and making mental notes to myself as which spots are good. The above list could easily keep you busy for months and months
