Postby timno1 on Sat Apr 12, 2008 10:18 pm

Does anyone on this forum know where you can hire a model, that isnt too espensive, for a photo shoot?I have mainly photographed sports in the past, but im now looking to expand into the portraits field,so im looking for a model,to gain some sort of experience.

as alex said, MM is pretty good.

myspace is technically crap, you can find people there, but MM is more "model focused". :D

also try ozmodel.com. They seem to have more local listings - although you can't put out a casting call like you can with MM.

Thanks for the websites guys.I took a look at both Model Mayhem and OzModel, and booked a model from OM.I am doing a swimsuit shoot (my first ever) in a week, and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a location.Im pretty much looking for a beach around the city area that is great for photography but shouldnt get too busy.
I am going to scout out a few locations a bit later in the week,so any suggestions will be very helpful and much appreciated.
