Best shooting locations around Port Stephens

Hi all

Just on my way up to Port Stephens for a week. I am wondering what the best spots are for Sunrise/Sunset shots and whether there are any other great spots to shoot while I am about.

Planning on spending some time around:
Fingal Bay - beach and out to the lighthouse
Boat Harbour
Soldiers point
Want to get out to tin city and the sand dunes but only have a Forester

Ideally after a beach with some nice mossy rocks

So any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

a forrester is more then enough to get to 'tin city', esp from anna bay end. i've down many trips along stockton with a little forrester showing my landcruiser up - its allabout weight !. it cant do the big dunes, but there aint many on the northern end of stockton, and just stick to the flats..

just drop the tyre pressure down to around 20 and dont trun the steering wheel too sharply !
