Hi guys -
Need some advice / help...
Organised to do some family pics over the weekend in the CITY.
Location will be under the Harbour Bridge - Rocks side - but looks like its going to be raining ..
Anyone know of a decent location undercover around that area..
Approx 15 people in the family ?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Under the bridge will be dry...and soft open shadow....and if your on that hill above hickson rd (or even by the water on hickson rd) you should be smiling. People may get shoes wet but otherwise it should be fine.

thanks.. great idea.
What about the Piers ? Near the roundabout with the smashed "Red Car" - am sure most have seen the red car with a huge rock on it @ the roundabout...
Any spots there that may be undercover ?
Would like do do some individuals too with a different backdrop...
Thanks.

Millers Point in the Rocks might be better than directly under the bridge on Hickson Road.
This is the area directly north of the Harbour View Hotel (IIRC) and there's a northern frontage onto Fort St (again, IIRC).
This is a nicely grassed area, well elevated, and directly below the southern approaches to the bridge, so it is somewhat sheltered, and should provide good views of the harbour to the east and west.
Alternatively, there's also the park outside the Observatory, which is just a little bit south of this park. There's a rotunda, you are even more elevated, and again, there are great views in pretty much all directions.
Please remember to observe all laws in the area, which includes that if you are doing a commercial shoot, you need to have a license to shoot from the relevant authorities. I would presume that this is not a commercial shoot.
