Thanks to you, Birddog, and the kind folks at the monastery for making Chryssine and I feel very welcome :!:

We had a great morning :D :D

Hey Onyx, great to see you, but I thought I was off the hook for the mini-meet reports until you told me you're off again in a couple of days

Thankyou for inviting us Birdy.

I certainly had an enjoyable time. The whole ceremony was 'elightening' and i found it to be quite an experience. The food was excellent too. Nice to be able to eat whatever i liked and not worry about if an animal was slaughtered to make it.

Thanks again.

Looking forward to seeing some pics from this event - had been thinking about tagging along, but we had an idea to go to the zoo instead :)

Glad you had a good turnout birdie :)

John: Only about 300. But I'm going out tonight and will be busy tomorrow, working, then the night shoot. Might get some time for PP sometime this month! :(

Thanks very much for having us Birdy! It was great PJ practise, and I certainly learnt a lot. Will have to see how the LS2 faired, as Matt K. commented to me, it certainly does have the potential to eat batteries! The company as always was fantastic, thanks to all the D70Users people and especially to all at the monastery for making us feel so welcome! :) Special thanks to Birdy for lending me a EN-EL3, I embarrasingly left mine on the charger this morning. And the less said about my attempts to find the monastery the better... I had a brain fart and my memory was a bit off, so I had to buy a street directory. Oh well, probably needed a new one anyway! :)

Thanks Birddog for organising this meet.

Sorry I missed out nearly all of the day's festivities, but it was great to see you guys again after my long absence.
