They are beauties aren't they? it's a complete world of difference from 'velbon-shakey-land'
Are we going to go for a night shoot after we meet the guy with our fancy new tripods then?

Sounds interesting - any idea of place/date/time?

My initial proposal:
Tomorrow, Thursday 21, evening after-work hours (5pm-6pm)
Place... hmm, where do everone work somewhere close in between us?
Im working in Chatswood, can be in the CBD city area by 5pm.
If people are close to the city, places like Milsons Pt or Darling Harbour can have plenty of good night shots.
Any takers or better suggestion? As I have to packup my stuff and take it on with me tomorrow if its a go.

That would rule me out as I work out in the sticks (Brookvale
) and wouldn't finish work until about 6:30 anyway.

Thanks Geoff, but I already drive - the problem is not the transport, the problem is getting there at a suitable time - I normally don't get home until about 7pm at the earliest anyway!
That said, depending on what day it was, I can always catch up with everyone at a later time.
I will stay tuned.

Top of only 25 tomorrow Trent, where as today it's top of 29 I think.

Unfortunately, won't be able to make tomorrow evening. (Have corporate box tickets to the Swans final on Friday and have to do some things at home before the weekend, which means tomorrow night only). (Actually, I just wanted to mention I had corporate box tickets to the Swans game....)

Sorry to hear you can't make it tomorrow Patrick.
OK - time and place tomorrow evening? I'd prefer around 6:30pm-7pm if possible.
I might also add that there's a small chance I may not be able to attend, but won't know until I see how much work I get done tomorrow during the day.

Would you guys like to organise a bit more of an earlier advised shootout next week or so?
So we post up on the events section and gather a few more people?
