Anyone remember The Photo magazine?

Hi Guys.

About 10 years ago my grandfather gave me his complete set of the Photo magazines even though I wasn't into photography at all. I've just started going through them for the second time since getting my D70 and they're a wealth of information. I'm just wondering whether anyone remembers them?
They were probably around about early 1980 or so going by the clothes on the models hehehe.

Yes, I remember that owen.

Also Camera Arts which started early eighties, published monthly and lasted a couple of years. It was a great mag - I bought every one of them and still have them all. Looking through them, you can only marvel at how much photography (equipment in particular) has changed, and publishing too.

However, the images are timeless in terms of artistic merit.

A couple of the more interesting articles I found were the history of photography. It's really fascinating all the early processes involved.
