Avatar images

Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Nothing could be further further from the truth in any section at DSLRUsers.com, but especially here. Don't feel intimidated. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked. We were all beginners at one stage, and even the most experienced amongst us will admit to learning new stuff on a daily basis. Ask away! Please also refer to the forum rules and the portal page

Not sure if my previous post when though so I am sending again.

Would someone be able to tell how to create an image small enough to use as avatar image :?:

Hi! Barry,

Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB.

Passing on a suggestion made to me, in Photoshop when you resise the image, when saving use "save for web" that usually does it but you may have to adjust down a tad if it does not work the first time.
