Doug if you go to the Image Reviews and critiques section of the forum you'll see there's a sticky thread right at the top that covers this in fantastic detail. If I was mean I'd make you go there now, but I must have forgotten to take my grumpy pills today so just click here

FWIW for the future a search using the option at the top of the page should turn up things like this also eg typing IMAGE AND POST AND HELP brings up 53 matches as I type - one of which is the link above and the first of which points to that link.

Cheers

Thanks peter I'll have a look I am actually a dyslexic photographer so I do not read or write well. It is a pain but that is one of the main reasons I got into photography so No real complaints there;-)

Portable Network Graphics.

It's supposed to be a replacement for GIF, essentially, complete with support for more colours and the transparency thing.

It just hasn't caught on.

Mind you, Macs love it.

EDIT: Rightio. I didn't realise PNG meant Papua New Guinea. Silly me...

How i would do it....

1. Resize the pic you want to post
2. Go to http://www.photobucket.com
3. Upload the photo onto their site (make sure the pic is no larger than 800 pixels and is less than 200k)
4. Copy and paste link into thread or post (most likely Image reviews and critiques)

Hoped that help :D
