Hi there,

I have a friend who is into star watching...he has asked me if I can connect my D70S to his telescope to take photos of the stars & planets etc at night.

Does anyone out there have any help on this subject or where there is a web site that has information etc etc etc...

Would like to seem like I know what I am doing before we have a go at this

It most certainly is possible and there are members on here who have achieved tremendous results. I cannot for the life of me remember the memebrs name who is prolific in astrophotography, but a search on that terms should yield some good results.

Both Big V and Gordon great awesome results, and are very helpful to any budding Astro-photographer, there are a few others too but these two are around a fair bit so your sure to 'bump into them'.

Perhaps if your thread title was a little more relevant perhaps 'Star Photography - Help' or something along those lines you might lure the right people into your thread I'm slowly learning to keep my thread titles more relevant as there is just so much activity on the forums, some people can't keep up with every thread.
