G'day

I submitted a post to another forum then noticed a typo, so I tried to edit it, when doing so I got the message:

"DSLR Users.net Forum Index
Information

You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while. "

What are the restrictions? I don't normally have problems caused by my fast typing speed.

Cheers

It's not about the post count, but rather the time between each post and each edit of a post you perform.

Take around 15 seconds to 30 seconds between each post and each edit and you'll be right.

Basically, it's to stop flooding, and we have had people in the past try to artificially raise their post count by flooding various topics.

It's an anti-flood restriction.

Wait 60 seconds and you'll be fine.

be fine.

be fine.

be fine.

be fine.

:)

Thank

Thanks for the info folks - it seems a sensible restriction.

I shall just learn not to be so quick in noticing typo's in my posts, or learn not to be embaressed, or learn to type and spel writely
