Unable to view new threads

Hi,

I seems to be having a problem (The page cannot be displayed) when viewing new threads.

Here's what I am doing
1) I log into the site and click on the navigation link to view new threads since my last vist
2) Click on the subject (not on the hyperlinked numbers) to view the thread.
3) It open the a URL (for example http://www.dslrusers.com/viewtopic.php? ... highlight=) which displays as "The page cannot be displayed"
4) If I delete "&highlight=" and make the URL http://www.dslrusers.com/viewtopic.php?t=16179 then I can see the thread.

Am I doing something wrong... user error maybe?? :?

Thanks & Cheers
Mak

Hi Mak,

works for me :D

You will have to give us more info:

-browser and version
-OS and version
-firewalled, if doing it from work, some firewalls could be configured not to like the format of link, maybe

Cheers,

André

Works fine from here as well.

Lose IE, but it sounds local ...

Very weird - try emptying your IE cache and see if that fixes it.

Thanh,

This seems related to what you were telling me, but he's seeing different results.

Hi eveyone,

Thanks for replying and I have got good news (i think :? )....

The URLs seems to work now from home ... Looks like its something specific to my laptop and maybe the network at work...

my home pc has Win XP SP1 and IE 6.0.2800 SP1

gstark : I agree IE is a pot of sh-- I will install FF on my laptop and revert.

Thanks again!
Cheers
