Which Point and ShootG'Day everyone,
My sister is looking at buying a Point and shoot camera and since I am the photographic expert in the family (wonder where she got that idea from) she has asked me for suggestions... The biggest requirements 1) small / nil shutter lag 2) movie with sound 3) relatively cheap abt AUD 250 4) optical zoom not digital zoom She has seen the Canon Powershot A430 Digital Camera and the Kodak EasyShare C530 Digital Camera. I have the sony DSC v1 which has a HUGGGEEEE shutter lag (which is a pain) and hence I am looking for any suggestion on which P&S to go for, even if in a higher price range. Ta! Cheers Mak Canonian

Hi Mak
Without wanting to come across as an advert.. I'm selling my parents Ricoh Caplio R2 on ebay at the moment which will sell at around the price you are looking for. For outdoor work, or any decent light level, it's great. For indoor I'm not sure if any P&S will give you a sensor as good as the DSLRs. Regards, Paul Vandenberg
