After using for about 1 hour, rotating it all rounds for different angles and effects, it eventually snapped off from the ring!!
Anybody here knows how to fix this??

snap it back in
Mine did the same when "someone" dropped it - luckily there was no damage to the glass, so I just put it back together. The metal ring is all that holds it in place - may not have been seated properly to start with, and the heavy use may have disturbed it enough to come loose.

Is it covered by warranty? when did you buy it?

Mick,
This isn't worth worrying about under warranty. As Leon says, just snap it back in.
There's no issues of optical alignment in play here. Just a piece of glass that has come adrift from its mount. It's a somewhat common occurrence: i've seen it on a couple of occassions.

I tried to put it back on for start, but then all the oil lubricant is now over the rings...
I will just keep trying for now, thanks for letting me know its 'common' issue with CPL filters, im a bit reliefed now.
