Nikon D70s Replacement Battery

I recently bought from the wonderful Poon (thanks Poon!) a replacement battery for my D70s. its model is EN-EL3e. my original battery is EN-EL3a.
just wondering if this will work, i am just scared it will blow my camera up!

yes it will work....it will also work on my D200 if you decide not to try it :wink:

Laurie in addition to working on both D200 and D70 that new battery holds slightly more charge and so lasts a touch longer in your D70.

Here's a hint with this sort of thing.
Manufacturers are a little more than considerate about these potential problems.
If it's made by the same manufacturer, and it fits into your camera without any extra effort, it's going to be fine.
At the most, it wont work.
It will never do damage unless it's supplied with warnings that it will.
If that's the case, it will generally be modified so that it can't affect anything adversely.
I've never found anything where it was a consideration, but I'm just making allowances. In 99.99 percent of times, you won't do any damage.
