I am considering buying a wireless radio flash setup from ebay.

But the battery types seems to be rather foreign.

4LR44 6V
23A 12V

Does any of you have any experience as to how accesible or affordable these batteries are in Australia?

The first battery is the LR44 and you will need 4 of them - cost from Jaycar $1.40 each.

The second battery A23 is $2.65 from the same source

Ive been getting A23's from Dick Smith. I think I paid $2.35, but that was a while ago.
They are quite common in some remote's like garage door openers, panick alarms and older central locking etc

I'm not normally one who makes "me too" posts, but - me too!

Currently I use a cable for one flash and an optical slave for another, so a transmitter with two receivers would suit me just fine. Three pocket wizards would be nice, but at around $1200, I dont think I'll bother.

Thanks for your replies! I will be buying these transmitters soon. Will report on progress... Has anyone got a 430EX? Just about to buy one and wondering whether there are any negatives about it . Will be using with my 350D mostly off camera flash..
