Just a quick question, is there an easy way to have the size (pixel dimensions) displayed on the image I'm currently working on ? It seems like something that should be able to be shown somewhere, without clicking into the menus to view image size. ??

In the bottom left hand corner of the image window there is a line of text and a right-arrow button. If you select the button and select Document Dimensions it will show the image size.

On your image where you normally see the document size in meggage, click the arrow and select "Document Dimensions"

Under Preferences and Units & Rulers, changes the Rulers option to pixels.

Of course, when the window gets small enough Photoshop will decide to not display that area at all, but otherwise it's useful.

Personally I'd like it if it would display Document Profile AND Document Dimensions, but we don't get everything we wish for... :(

Thanks Guys works a treat, It just kept pissing me of having to manually check if the file was too big or not.
